Article 1 This Regulation are called "Regulation of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand on the establishment of the Institute. Halal Food Standards 2546"
Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following the day on which the Board has resolved to declare the regulations now on.
Article 3 All rules, regulations or orders declare any conflict or inconsistent with the rules, regulations, use this instead.
Article 4 In this Regulation
"Board" means the Board of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand.
"County Board " means the Board of the Provincial Islamic.
"Board " means the Board of Directors of halal standards.
"Director " means a director of the Institute for Halal Food Standard.
"Institute " means the Institute for Halal Food Standard.
Article 5 The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand , acting in accordance with this regulation. And the power to judge, interpret requirements and operating procedures. Transportation to these regulations.
Halal Standard Institute
Article 6 The Institute for Halal Food Standard. To serve on the certification standards. Halal under the supervision of the Commission. And a full time worker.
Article 7 The institution has a role in the development of standards. Scrutinize and investigate Certification Halal food in accordance with the provisions of Islam and in accordance with international standards to secure consumer acceptance, both domestically and abroad.
Article 8 The Institute is responsible for the following:
I. Research, development and standardization of halal food in accordance with the provisions of Islam and in accordance with international standards of halal.
II. Study the problems and solutions, the certification of halal food to be reliable and acceptable to producers, consumers and organizations , both public and private sector both at home and abroad.
III. Staff development related activities in the halal food . To provide personnel with the ability to support the production and export of halal food.
IV. Food inspection at the request of the operator to present the check to the board for consideration.
V. Monitoring of food products , including raw materials , production processes have been certified halal food , then to product quality and standards in accordance with halal standards.
VI. Coordinating operations with other agencies , both public and private sectors to develop halal food of a standard halal food internationally, and coordination with organizations halal and international organizations accredited halal food . of the countries to strengthen the trust and acceptance of halal food Thai standards.
VII. Awareness about halal standards . Standard & Certification Halal to trust and recognition from the people involved.
VIII. PR certification and permission to use products certified Halal . Including cancellation of the certification and authorization of food products treated . Not valid according to Islamic principles and international standards of halal.
IX. Any other action As assigned by the Executive Committee.
